Bungoma County Governor On Spot For Neglecting The Sabaot Community
The Bungoma County Governor He.Wycliffe Wafula Wangamati has been put on the spot for his neglect on the sabaot community. The governor who has been on spot for misuse of funds have been faced with another allegations for dividing developments his county and only developing the Bukusu Community leaving Behind the Minority Sabaot Community who live in Mount Elgon Constituency.
The Governor who has been put on the spot over not developing the community roads. The roads in Mount Elgon are impassable and hence making it slow for the goods to reach to them market.
The lack of development In the area has made the goods in the region not be able to reach the market hence leaving the residents of the area poor and always crying.
The Mount Elgon Sub county Hospital is not also well developed compared to other hospitals in sub counties where the luhya inhabit and this has raised worries in the community over preparedness for fight over the deadly covid-19 pandemic..
The sabaots have tried to reach out to the Governor to also remember them in development and this message comes as sabaots are experiencing a hard time in transport sector, poverty and also health issues
