Bungoma County Governor Awarded The Best Performing Governor in Western

Bungoma County is located in the Northern part of western Kenya region and is densely populated. It's one of the fastest growing counties in the country due to its agricultural activities.

Bungoma County has had two governors since the inception of devolution and the two have really brought alot of development In the county. The first Governor Hon Speaker of senate Ken Lusaka developed the county in terms of infrastructure and when he left office in 2017, the current Governor Hon Wycliffe Wangamati took over.

Today, the Bungoma County Governor has joined other political leaders in Villa Rosa Kempisky Nairobi for the Gala Awards whereby they will be presented with their awards for being best from their regions. 

The Bungoma County Governor Hon Wycliffe Wangamati was awarded the best Governor In Western Region for his hard work and the kinds of development he has brought in his region. According to the Gala Awards, Governor Wangamati proved to be hardworking in his work as the second governor. Hon Wangamati was able to defeat his Kakamega, Vihiga and Busia Counties Counterparts in terms of developments.

 Recently, the said governor was on the trending due to his Scholarship towards highschool students. His Scholarship dubbed Governor Whycliffe Wangamati Scholarship was able to help thousands of students in his county irregardless of their tribe or locality.

The Gala Awards is one of the non governmental organizations that keeps the politicians In office on track by awarding and ranking leaders in regards to their work and developments they do in their regions.
