Kenyan politics have taken a different turn recently after the 2022 General Elections politics steamed up. The political events have come with it's challenges and Also hardships to both normal kenyans and Politicians.
Recently, a Bungoma County based musician- politician was assassinated in cold blood on his way back home from meeting with some of his political friends. The young man identified as Peter Oteng alias 'Storm' was killed in Bungoma town some minutes to curfew hours and his body found lying lifeless the following day.
The late Peter Oteg worked for the Kimilili Member of Parliament as his personal assistant back in 2015 to 2018 and they had a good working relationship. The late also worked with some other politicians from western and Is said to be working with a certain political party leader from western.
During His final send off at his home place, the Kimilili member of Parliament Hon Didmus Barasa eologised him as one filled with humility, respect and resilience. Furthermore, Hon Didmus Barasa revealed that he had secured Peter Oteg's girlfriend a job as an ACC a job that she is expected to start this coming Monday. Peter Oteng had a girlfriend to whom she left pregnant after his untimely death that has left many speechless.
Hon Didmus Barasa called on the police to speed fully investigate and put all the involved culprits in jail. "He didn't deserve to be butchered that way. May his killers find no peace on the surface of earth. Rest in peace storm," read the concluding message of Hon Didmus Barasa.
