The Deputy President of Kenya Hon William Ruto is one popular man known mostly for his generosity among other traits. Little is known about his past but in different interviews he has revealed that he came from a humble background something that has encourage him to give handsomely.

Mama Rachael Ruto furthermore revealed a past event whereby the couple had visited Turkana for some church mission only for the local pastor to show up barefoot at the African Inland Church in Lodwar. Mama Rachael Ruto revealed that the Deputy President William Ruto back then was touched to an extend of removing his shoes and giving them to the pastor.

In another event, when the second in command was only 8 years, Mama Rachael Ruto said that he (William Ruto) was forced to give all his savings that he had intended to buy himself a trouser for some church contribution.

This is not the first time the Deputy President William Ruto is linked to generous giving as he has been seen in the past giving out to the poor and changing lives of many poor Kenyans. The second in command after Uhuru Kenyatta has since revealed that he will be vying for presidency come the next general elections in 2022
