Kca University Students Decry High Insecurity, Comrades Call For Intervention (Video)

The Kenya College of Accountancy University popularly known as KCA University is one of the best private universities in Kenya. KCA UNIVERSITY is popularly known for its accounting courses and mainly business related courses. It is also known for its speed in ensuaring Students cover their courses faster and hence graduating as it was planned unlike other universities.

Recently, many Kenyan universities have been faced with Insecurity cases whereby university students have been murdered under unclear circumstances while some being murdered by their lovers. A few days ago, the Bungoma County senator Moses Wetangula poked holes on the security team offering security on the higher level of education institutions. This comes barely a month after a fourth year student from Masinde Muliro University of Science and technology was murdered.

The Kca university students have also come out to decry high insecurity on the way to the universirty just afew metres from the main entrance. In the planned mission by a group of robbers, the students who have faced this have revealed that the group mostly consisting of between 30 to 50 people riding on bodabodas come riding while making alot of noise something one can mistake for a bodaboda riders strike only for them to pounce at you with all sorts of weapons demanding your personal properties. 

One witnes who sort privacy due to fear of being tracked down by the dreaded gang revealed that the group make their move impromptu and mostly either at 11am or 5pm when most of the students are from class. Their targets are mostly innocent students who don't understand what is going on. The eye witnessed revealed that she lost her phone,laptop and money which all sum up to almost ksh 200,000. The terrified witnessed has since reported the matter to the police but is calling on the Kenya Police to deploy officers around the kca university mostly at the CPA centre and the tunnel entering the university. 

The Student leader at the University have also revealed that they have been reached by the matter and is talking to the administration of the institution on how they can best handle the matter. However, students have been issued with a warning to always be keen and vigilant whenever they see any group of bodabodas approaching. They have been advised to always run for their dear lives as the security team plans to take over the area until normalcy resumes.
