Popular Nairobi Based Primary School On Fire, Security and Health Personnel On Site
Cases of Schools burning down recently have been on the high rise with some being caused by electrical problems whereas women some causes have been blamed on raudy students. Parents, teachers and the government at large have been trying to handle the situation which have of late reduced.
Early today morning, a popular Primary school based Nairobi has witnessed a fire break up which led to some commotion in the school. It was witnessed that around noon the school known as Rockfields School witnessed fire that started from the boys dormitory.
It is however not clear what started the fire at the school but according to a source from the school, it is clear that no student was hurt and that only a number of teachers were injured as they tried to safe guard the students from the fire. The injured have since been taken to hospital and are receiving treatment as they only faced minor injuries.
The police from Buruburu police station have since arrived at the scene of the incident accompanied by the Nairobi Metropolitan Ambulance and the situation has since been controlled. It is also clear that the pupils are all safe and that the police have promised to investigate on the matter.
