Ksh 10550 For Serving Twice!! Mugoiri Girls Deputy Principal On The Spot For Sending Students Home Special Meal
The Kenyan education system has faced alot of challenges in the past one year which include the long holidays offered due to corona virus and also the tight schedule that the government has put in place to cover the time lost.
Last year during the second term, many schools witnessed strikes from the students who raised alot of complains among them mistreatment from teachers and also tight schedule that wasn't favourable to the students. This saw to it that students had to be given a break to go home to cool their nerves.
During the strikes time, several principals were put on the spot for extorting money from parents in the name of repairs of destroyed properties. Some of the parents even went ahead to go to court to charge such principals . It seems this behavior wasn't well delt with as a Deputy Principal from a prestigious girls school is on the spot for a similar case.
The Mugoiri Girls Deputy Principal One Madam Mundia has been on the spot for reportedly sending home 17 students for allegedly serving twice a special meal offered on Sunday 16th January 2022.
The deputy president who send the students home on 19th January 2022 wrote in the report that the said students are expected to report back on 25th January accompanied by their parents and the parents are expected to pay the fine of Ksh 10,550.
The information has been received with alot of Critism from irate Kenyans who called on the deputy principal to be interviewed as some parents from the said institution complained of their children receiving less services compared to the amount of money they pay.
