"Not Politics Only!!" More Details Emerge Concerning Natembeya's Early Resignation Ahead Of August Elections
Kenyans and the world as a whole recently celebrated the new year but for Kenya in particular this marked the entry into an election year that has been awaited for 5 years now. Further more, Kenyans have started witnessing the election preparedness activities coming to life.
Yesterday, the outspoken and powerful Rift valley regional commissioner George Natembeya resigned from office which many sighted as the political ambitions in this year's general elections.
The Former Rift Valley regional commissioner George Natembeya was a well known leader who made headlines after his tremendous amount of work and determination that he put on his work as the regional commissioner and as he plans to vie for The gobernatorial position Kenyans wished him all the best.
However, early today morning some information has been aired by online medias linking his resignation to a transfer from the Regional commissionership position to the headquarters here in Nairobi a move that most probably wouldn't be suitable or favourable to Natembeya's political ambitions given that he is vying for governorship position in Trans Nzoia County..
George Natembeya has since been replaced by Mohamed Ahmed Maalim who was serving as the Makueni County Commissioner.
